I wish I could tell you that achieving success in MLM requires no effort, no work and that money just falls into your lap.
But I can’t…
You have invested in a business and like any other business you have actions that you need to take if you are going to produce sales and recruits.
And if you want big results there is going to have to be a lot of continuous action. There is no other way to do it.
I have people email me and ask me to help them and when I look at there situation I realize that there is little to no regular action being taken in their business.
If you are going to succeed you must create good MLM habits that over a period of time create results and then you results are multiplied when you hit momentum and then things really take off, but first you must pay the price of consistent action.
Sounds exciting doesn’t it?
Well yes and no…
When you start to see some really great results then yes it is exciting, but when you are sitting at home looking at the phone knowing that you need to make that phone call to the customer/recruit lead you just got and you would rather be doing anything else but like watching TV or playing games on Facebook, well it is not so exciting then.
That is why creating habits in your business are important. Once you got into the habit of doing something it makes it easy to continue doing it and seeing results.
So how do you create good MLM habits?
Let’s take a look at follow up calls for sales and recruits since that is an important action to take and one that most people want to avoid.
First of all when creating a habit you need to take small steps first. Set a small daily block of time 10 -15 minutes to start where you are going to do your phone calls. I find evenings is one the best times to make these calls.
So during the day get everything together that you are going to need to make the phone calls including your customer/lead list, a pen, you calendar.

Then before you sit down to make the calls get rid of all distractions including the TV, Facebook and your cell phone. Turn them OFF so that you can focus on the task at hand.
Set a timer for 10 – 15 minutes NO LONGER. The point is to do it long enough to start seeing results, but not too long that you get bored or tired or you choose not to do it because it is going to take too long.
Sit down, look at the first name on your list pick up the phone and dial it.
Yes, I am being silly here, but so many people will sit do and not do it. The best thing you can do is quickly get that first phone call done, it makes it easier to make the second and the third call.
Make phone calls until the timer goes off then you are done and can go do something that you want.
When you have done this 5 days in a row give yourself a reward.
Now just imagine when you add a daily prospecting habit to this. You will have a thriving business in no time flat.
So make the decision today that you are going to create good MLM habits.
