What an amazing and challenging time it has been in my life and I apologize for not sending out more training but the reason I don’t is pretty simple. Word has gotten around about my writing skills and I now have an additional business of writing books for other people and it has really taken off. At any one time, I can have three books on the go and I am writing thousands upon thousands of words each week. But I have not forgotten you.
I have hired an awesome virtual assistant to help me to do time-consuming yet essential activities that take my time away from doing what I really love and that is write. So hopefully I can now get more regular trainings to you. So, for now we are going to start with two-a-month (on the 1st and 15th), and see how that goes.
So just before we get into today’s training, I would love to hear about what you want to learn about? If you have things you want me to teach about, then send me off an email to email@example.com and I will do my best to cover them in the few trainings.
It can be a great blessing to your business or a great frustration as other people succeed easily and you struggle. I don’t which way it is for you, hopefully, it is a blessing.
If it isn’t then I have some good news for you today. With writing books, I haven’t been able to do as much local recruiting as I normally do, so I have turned to Facebook to find leads for my business and most weeks I am recruiting 1-2 people a week. How am I doing it?
By using buy and sell groups. Now if you get training from different gurus, they are going to tell you that there is this secret formula and you should never post your company name and people have to go through this big funnel and you can find out how they do it for $397.
Well, I am here to tell you how I do it for free and the only secret to it is that you have to be consistent in posting, that is it!
I keep my posts simple. I start with a thought provoking question and I have a few that I use. One of my favourites is, “Are you a social media diva, who would love to earn some extra money doing what you love everyday.” Then, I add a few benefits about my company in sentence form to make a short paragraph and then a bulleted list of what my company offers and some of the best things they don’t (such as no minimum orders). At the end, I put, “If you are interested in joining or hearing more about it, leave a comment below or PM me.” That is it. I then put it with a awesome picture supplied by my company or with one I made using Canva.com with an inspirational, entrepreneurial quote.
It is not hard. I have over 100 groups that I post to on a regular basis. I will post to 25-30 groups a day. You don’t want to post to anymore than that as you can end up in Facebook jail. Also, don’t join more than 5-6 groups in a day. Build it up over time.
I can’t say that everyday I get someone who wants to join. Some days, I get nothing and then some days I could get 4-5 leads and 2-3 recruits. That is why consistency is important. When you post on a regular basis, people get to know that you aren’t a flash-in-a-pan representative of your company and will contact you.
Here are some other helpful hints and tips:
* Check the rules of each group and follow them. You will get banned very quickly if you don’t.
* Make a spreadsheet of the groups. I divide mine geographically and focus on one area a day.
* Start your own groups or ask to become an assistant admin to some of the bigger ones. Then you are the one creating the rules.
* When people ask you for more info in the comments, send them a private PM and start a conversation with them. Try to do it ask quickly as possible. That way if they are not interested, it is not affecting anyone who reads the post.
*Once you have given them the pertinent details a great question to ask is, “Is this something you would be interested in doing (if they seem eager), or hearing more about (if they seem hesitant)?” If the answer is yes, then book a time to take them through your normal enrollment process.
Recruiting on Facebook can be fun, and as you see more and more leads come in you will be so glad that you tried it.
Until next time,
Have a successful week,
